Every sitter on zyttle completes identity verification, phone verification, and a sex offender registry screen before their profile goes live. Teen sitters require parent or guardian approval — a layer of accountability that's specific to zyttle. Adult sitters can also complete an optional Checkr background check at their own expense; when they do, you'll see a "Background Checked" badge on their profile and can filter for it on the sitter list.

Teen sitters (13–17) are neighborhood kids who go through identity verification, phone verification, and sex offender screening, and must have a parent or guardian approve their profile. They're great for after-school care, homework help, and lighter babysitting. Adult sitters (18+) complete the same identity, phone, and registry checks, and can optionally add a Checkr background check badge. Both types are verified — the level of detail you see on each profile makes it easy to pick the right fit.

You add a payment method at booking, but you're only charged after the sit is completed. You'll see the full cost — sitter's hourly rate plus any booking fee — before you confirm. No surprises. Free members pay a $3.99 booking fee per sit and can book up to 4 weeks ahead. Premium members ($9.99/mo) pay no booking fees, can book same-day, and can schedule up to 12 weeks in advance.

Plans change — we get it. zyttle has a flexible cancellation policy with different terms depending on how close to the booking you cancel. The full details are in our Terms of Service. Premium members also get a little extra flexibility built into the plan.
